I think this is fantastic! Great negative work - just enough to tell the story!
I agree: great composition and wonderful use of negative space...
really beautiful!
What an amazing interpretation of the word 'free'. Kudos to you!
Great use of negative space and concept!
Thanks for those kind words everyone. It just makes it better when I know you like it.This was the first time I have 'played' with negative space and knowing when to quit was the hard part.
this is beautiful. stricking. haunting, even. you knew just when to stop - great job.
One of your very best! Bravo!
Nifty... had to look longer than expected in order to "get it." I came from EDM this time... and haven't illustrated this weeks' challenge. yet.
I LOVE this drawing!! I've seen other artist's do piece's such as this. Egon Schiele would create works leaving out hands, arms, feet. It's interesting how a few lines can suggest a whole subject.
I love this...it's very understated and soft. I love the webbed foot and the subtle texture in the pale spaces.
Very well done, Tery. Hinted visible, if you want to watch. Very subtle.
