Illustration Friday - Opposites

The theme this week at Illustration Friday is 'opposites'.

I thought opposite colored paper with the opposite sides of a daisy would work just fine.

Happy Illustration Friday everyone!

Colored pencil in the Fabriano journal.

It is lovely, Teri. I want to hold it! Have you ever seen a gloriosa daisy. They are all different blooms on one plant. Each blossom is yellow and brown like a huge black eyed susan but the flowers themselves are each different. It always makes me think of a family. All in one group but each one different, yet beautiful in their own way.

It's wonderful! I agree with Patty: This would make a wonderful card!
Wasn't this a fun theme? I have seen so many wonderful interpretations already!

So lovely and eye-catching! I love the brightness of the yellow on the dark green paper. As much as i use colored pencils I really should try them on colored paper!

What a really lovely drawing! I like the two different colors of paper splitting the daisy. I like colored paper as a background...it provides a lot of depth that you don't get with white paper. Good one, Teri:>

Beautiful. I saw the Fabriano multi colored paged books this weekend when I bought a new m.s. but I thought I'd have a hard time getting used to the colored pages. You sure didn't! Another goodie!
