The theme this week at Illustration Friday is 'opposites'.
I thought opposite colored paper with the opposite sides of a daisy would work just fine.
Happy Illustration Friday everyone!

Lovely, Teri!
Nice illustration Teri. Bravo!
I like the contrast in the intesity of the colors as well (upper/lower). =)
It is lovely, Teri. I want to hold it! Have you ever seen a gloriosa daisy. They are all different blooms on one plant. Each blossom is yellow and brown like a huge black eyed susan but the flowers themselves are each different. It always makes me think of a family. All in one group but each one different, yet beautiful in their own way.
It's wonderful! I agree with Patty: This would make a wonderful card!
Wasn't this a fun theme? I have seen so many wonderful interpretations already!
So lovely and eye-catching! I love the brightness of the yellow on the dark green paper. As much as i use colored pencils I really should try them on colored paper!
I agree with everyone--this is bright, sparkling, original, fresh! Teri, you're finding your 'voice' as an artist, for sure!
Simply beautiful Teri! Your colour choices are exquisite and I love the way it melds together!!!

Oh, this daisy looks so sweet and fresh, love the look of it and the green paper overlapping a little the orange, separate but made one by that pretty daisy. Wonderful work as usual!
Great idea Teri and wonderful drawing.
Now are you just trying to use up that fabriano paper or you beginning to like it?
I like the velvety feel and rich colors and the way the dimensionality of the petals. Really nice, as usual!
.I really adore your style and uniqueness wonderful art
What a really lovely drawing! I like the two different colors of paper splitting the daisy. I like colored paper as a background...it provides a lot of depth that you don't get with white paper. Good one, Teri:>

Beautiful. I saw the Fabriano multi colored paged books this weekend when I bought a new m.s. but I thought I'd have a hard time getting used to the colored pages. You sure didn't! Another goodie!
