Yesterday I was playing in the garden and noticed the intruder, a piece of grass that had been there so long, it started growing seeds. "WHAT THE HECK," I said, "You can't play in here with all the Black-eyed-Susie's!"And out it went! No more playing in MY garden!
Watercolor and a bit of pen (on the grass seed) in the Raffine sketchbook.

A beautiful painting and a most appropriate exclamation.
I have noticed a lot of "Playing" going on in our garden this summer.
Pretty! Very playful indeed. :)
I love your paint :o) best Wishes, Issi
Lovely painting and the composition definitely says, "Play!" You get so much personality into your painted daisies!
That lonely weed can come play in my garden. It's so overgrown that the pumpkins are almost hidden !
Shame on me.
:-D
He he he ... good story and EXCELLENT drawing
Bravo Teri, those flowers look alive and happy!
haha i love this it's so fun and nice to hear the viewpoint from your garden!!!
LOVELY, Teri!! You really "DO" daisies of all kinds beautifully!! LOL
love it...beautiful...sigh...
These flowers are just so pretty! I love how delicate the leaves are - the shading and subtle gradations of color are perfect. I adore black eyed susans...I've been seeing them everywhere growing in wonderful masses of color, and they always make me feel so happy! Thanks for the story...naughty grass, playing where it shouldn't!
I really like the sunny yellow-green of this; not a dark element in the whole picture
very clever!! the poor weed!
Very nice...great idea. Don't blame you for not wanting weeds playing in your garden.
ur flowers are always great to look at even if this one has a frisky piece of grass trying to be the center of attention in ur garden lol
nice composition!
So funny Teri!! You can paint black eyed Susan's anytime! Love that little spotting on the leaf.
Hiya Teri -ge=reat image and lovely idea as usual!
Oops- sorry about the typo - meant to write "great" there!
A fun illo Teri.
Gardens can be fun and playful
Great story! I have a lot of playing going in in my gardens too that I need to put a stop too! The flowers look so lovely and cheerful!

He-he! Good for you! You tell them!
I am not even sure what is living in my daisies these days, but yours are very good looking, indeed!
