I think this little chipping sparrow is sitting on the watering can is waiting to be 'canned'.

Not a stretch at all Teri. I just love this sketch. I knew it was a chipping sparrow right away. I was wondering if you saw this image in your garden?
Canned always reminds me of my parents beautiful veggies lined up on shelves canned for the year. Those colors have always stuck in my mind. I would try to paint this image but I know I wouldn't do them justice. I would hate to tarnish that image. I wish I had taken a picture of them.

Love it! There's something about watering cans in a garden that brings a smile. A bird is just the icing on the cake!
I love this! I saw a female Cardinal a few times recently out my kitchen window, sitting on my succulent tires, and I wondered how you would love to paint her!!
