Zentangle Sunday

I have been zentangle-crazy lately. The more I make the more I want to make and explore new ideas.
The one above and below were done in response to using something in nature as a basis.

I like this on blue.

This one was a challenge to use one or more boxes and go from there. I did the three small boxes first and wondered what would happen if I used the same pattern (paradox) to surround all. Love the 3-D effect.

I did this one just because I felt like it and it kept growing and growing until I ran out of card.
Hope you are all having a great Sunday.

I am back home and playing catch up but I had to stop and say that someone else mentioned my work reminded them of MC Escher. I need to go look him up.

Also, yes Lynn, it is available and I will put it aside for you.

I had a wonderful time with the grands!! Of course!

Thanks for stopping by everyone.

Those are very interesting drawings, kind of hypnotizing! I like the colors with the black. I love the picture of the granddaughters with their new aprons on their dolls--what fun!

I never knew until I found this blog that this type of manic doodle has a name. My old school notebooks were always covered in them by the time I'd had them a week (which shows how much fun I was having doing all those interesting subjects like chemistry!) and now I know what they are - not doodles at all but ZEN TANGLES!

With the green one, it looks like you could fall into those leaves. Nice job on all.

Oh my - these are wonderful. The top one especially jumped right off the page of my blog reader - it's a very strong design.
