We Finally Found The Sun!

We decided to keep heading to Arizona today for this silly reason....DH discovered if we stayed in Arkansas we would miss the Packer football game and the Wisconsin Badgers in the Rose Bowl game!
So I rearranged the trip to include a long drive day today to Amarillo.
Then the last two days would be short ones so we can watch both games.

The good news is we finally found the sun with a temperature of 50F.

Even had to capture the sunset while driving.

And my car is still dirty! but traveling well.  Since I am doing all the driving I had to make DH my co-pilot much to his dismay but too bad.  I just don't want him driving yet.  Okay, I don't trust his driving yet and I think in the future we will fly.

ps to notes on my previous post:
Cris, we will rust together. :)  and then get shined up.
Lisa, how much snow did you get?
Ann, gosh I would love to fly over there and bring you some snow!!
Brenda, it will be great to find 'summer' in Arizona.
David, this weather is crazy.  We don't go through Abq so we will miss your cold.  We drive southwest through Ruidoso, Las Cruces and take I-10 into Tucson. And the sun better be there to greet us. lol  And my blood is definitely thinned!  Been cold since winter started in Wisconsin.
Marianne and Robin, love your quote and so happy you could get together again!
Pam, thank you.

Teri,
Good to see you're in warmer climes, and I hope your husband will enjoy the games!!!
It's so interesting to get this update, just when I thought I'd take a peek, to see how things are going.
Hugs,
Brenda

It is a good thing you kept going. We have 20" on the ground now. We got 12" the first snow then we got 8" more. The most snow since I moved here 18 years ago. That sunshine looks awfully good to me. The temps are not much above freezing for the next few days either. The snow isn't going anyplace soon. Send me some of that sunshine. ;)
